My sister and I saw in the New Year in classy style, sat on the sofa with a cup of tea and a sleepy puppy dog watching the fireworks from London on the TV!!

Hope you all had a lovely night!

Had a lovely Christmas and got some lovely presents (including a giant gingerbread man and a giant candy cane!) I think the dog was a little confused that we were both at home and that there were lots of boxes, I think he thought Mum was moving!

We have two New Year's traditions, New Year's Eve we go to the seaside so the dog can have a really good run on the beach, and on New Year's day we go to the cinema and do a bit of shopping at Clifton Moor near York. This time we did it the other way round and went to the cinema today to finally watch The Hobbit. I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings, both the books and films but wasn't too impressed with The Hobbit unfortunately. They seem to have written it as if it was meant to be released before the Lord of the Rings. I haven't read it in a while but they went off on a tangent a couple of times and added bits that didn't need to be included. I actually found myself getting a little bored in places. But never mind, it was pretty good and I'll still be watching the other two films.
We're taking the dog to Scarborough tomorrow and I'll probably be taking pictures!

Back to Christmas and I thought I would share some other pictures, all of the puppy of course!

Buzzy getting in the way of present wrapping.

Buzzy fast asleep on the sofa on my sister, Robyn with Tico, our cat.

Looking very smart in his bow tie (that I made for him! Yes, I know, I don't like dressing dogs but it doesn't bother him so it's fine!)

Far too interested in his new chew to notice we stuck gift tags on him!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and have a great New Year!!
