Less is More Challenge, 'One Layer: Film'

Hello!

Quick post today for this week's challenge over at Less is More and this week it's 'One Layer' and 'A Film' and for my card I've chosen Disney-Pixar's 'UP'.

Not sure why this popped into my head straight away when I saw the challenge but it did and I do love it, makes me cry every time I watch it!

So, here is my card:

I decided to use a single balloon which is from the 'Dress Up Lilly' stamp set by Pink Cat Studios and hand wrote 'Adventure is out there!', that's not my usual handwriting which is why it's a bit funny!

My top three films are actually Gladiator, Black Hawk Down and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King but I didn't really have anything I could use for those three!

Anywho, hope you like it!

First Post For a While and Brand New LOTV Images!

Hello! My first post in two months! Hooray! I really don't know what's happened to those last couple of months, it's gone by so quickly. There are a few bits of news that I was going to mention but can't remember what they were now so I'll have to let you know when I think of them!

One exciting thing is the latest launch last week from Lili of the Valley of 13 brand new stamps and 16 gorgeous Art and Sketch pads!

There are 8 beautiful new Art pads available and you can also get them in pads of black and white images for you to colour yourself. Even better, they go perfectly with the LOTV NitWit paper pads!
The 13 stamps feature brand new characters Jack, Patch and Puss, two Renaissance girls; Dainty Cake and Looking Glass, and four of the Wild Flowers from the new pads.

On to my latest card which is for Lili's Little Fairies' latest challenge, 'Clean and Simple'.

I've used one of the new images from Lili of the Valley's Set 1 'Vintage Boys' Art Pad. All the images in this pad are wonderful but this has to be my favourite, I love the little dog peeking through the fence! The sentiment is from another of the new LOTV Art Pads, this time Set 8 'General Sentiments', the little tags in the corner are from LOTV's Set 37 Christmas Mini Icon Tags stamp set which I've punched a whole through each and then tied with some gold and ivory Baker's Twine from Fantastic Ribbons and added a little star charm from Hobby House.
The central apertures were cut with Spellbinders Classic Rectangles Large and the sentiment and it's backing were cut with Spellbinders Standard Circles Small and Standard Circles Large.
I've also used the LOTV NitWit Country Gent paper pad which goes perfectly with the Vintage Boys pad.

Anywho, I hope you like the card and hopefully there won't be quite such a big gap between this and my next post!
