'Buckets of Love' and New LOTV Stamp News!

Hello!

Hope everyone's alright and enjoying slightly nicer weather that we've been having recently. Today it couldn't quite make it's mind up, it was either been raining, hailing or sunny! We've got another Bank Holiday weekend this weekend so hopefully the weather will be a bit nicer.

I'll get to today's card in a minute but some very exciting Lili of the Valley news first!
We've got a fantastic new range of 26 clear stamps coming out in a few weeks and they are absolutely gorgeous! There's all sorts of lovely vintage backgrounds, tags, verses and sentiments and they're going to be so popular. There'll be lots of brilliant sneak peeks on the Ideas to Inspire blog soon so make sure you pop over to have a look.

Anywho, on to today's card and this time I've combined two challenges in one, Papertake Weekly and Less is More.

The Papertake Weekly is 'If The Paper Fits' and is oddly enough a paper pieced card! I did a paper pieced card a little while ago for the Lili's Little Fairies blog challenge and really liked doing it so I enjoyed this one.
The Less is More challenge this week is 'Cat and/or Dogs' and of course I had to do a dog!

So here's the card I made:
This cute little puppy is 'Buckets of Love' from Lili of the Valley and I just stamped him on to white card and paper pieced bits together. The red spotty papers are 'Candles and Cake' from Lili of the Valley, the dark brown I used for him are also from Lili of the Valley but from the 'Country Gent' paper pad, the yellow paper is Bo Bunny 'Very Vintage Double Dot' and the light brown for his ears and the bucket handle are from my stash.
The sentiment comes with the 'Bucket of Love' stamp, I just used Spellbinders Classic Squares Large to cut him and the backing paper out and I added Glossy Accents to the bubbles and water to make them shiny but you can't see it very well!

Anywho, hope you like it!
